Xin was born in a college town in Hefei, China, and moved to Oregon at a young age. Xin is a proud double Duck.

Fascinated by the psychology and strategic aspects of the law, Xin always knew she wanted to be a litigator. Xin had dozens of bench and jury trials in law school working as a city prosecutor. Xin began her legal career as a plaintiff's attorney and had her first civil trial shortly after law school when she obtained a jury verdict 15 times that of the highest defense offer.

Wanting to learn from the best attorneys in Oregon, Xin joined a preeminent firm specializing in medical malpractice and legal malpractice defense. Prior to opening her own firm in 2011, Xin was a partner at a prestigious firm that specialized in legal malpractice defense, family law, and securities litigation.

Xin Xu Law focuses on legal malpractice defense and commercial litigation. Xin is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington and speaks Mandarin Chinese.

In her free time, Xin enjoys winetasting, cheering on her beloved Ducks and Blazers, and hiking in the beautiful Gorge with her wonderful husband and precocious daughter.
